What I Learned from Dominick Dunne

I was not a reader of Dunne though I have seen him on numerous shows. The thing I found most interesting about him was he was relentless, and was allowed to be successful in his relentlessness. I do not know the Kennedy's except through their PR machine but my impression is they are from the cloth of the Irish mobs of the early part of last century.

You perhaps forget Ted's own brush with manslaughter and the "rally round the flag" that issue caused. It is no wonder that Robert Kennedy Jr. found it well within him to defend the "flag" regardless of the "truth" We also recall William Smith and his Palm Beach "romp" while Godfather Ted stood there in his boxers drinkin a beer, let out a beefy burp and went back to bed.

There is no justice in this country, only politics. In the end there will be judgment one way or the other regardless of your belief system. God or no God, Ted is still dead and Ozymandias (the man not the statue) has become one with the sand. Reality is unknowable and the rest is all PR.

Ozymandias probably brought his own tin of Beluga to the party as well.
